Let’s be real. There are very few of us who were raised in the perfect home with perfect parents, had a pain-free childhood, and have never made poor decisions and suffered the consequences of those decisions. Likewise, we haven’t had perfect relationships or lived a life free from hurt, suffering, disappointments, anger, unforgiveness, or a broken heart. And, we all have sinned and know the feeling of separation from God. Sometimes we need some help in working out situations and dealing with hurts in our lives. Ultimately we believe it is God who does all healing – spirit, soul, and body. There are no “silver bullets” for the healing of our hearts. And for most of us, inner healing is more of a process than an event. However, God has given us tools that can facilitate His healing power in our lives. At Harvest, there are many ways God can bring about healing and wholeness in your life. Some of those ways are as simple as frequenting our weekly services, attending a small group, or serving in a ministry. In each instance, the presence of God and the fellowship of others can bring about God’s touch in your life. At other times, a more intentional means of connecting with God is what will bring about ministry that is needed. Harvest facilitates three specific “Healed Hearts” ministries in which you are invited to participate: Encounters, Ancient Paths, and Healing Prayer Ministry. Encounters This weekend (Friday night through Sunday afternoon) is designed for you to encounter yourself and God. When we come to God in honesty and with a willingness to surrender our lives to Him, He removes things that are holding us back and fills us with new things – His thoughts, actions, and heart. In the process, He gives us the ability to overcome sin and other things that can be barriers in our walk with God. His power and presence will make a huge difference in your life. Encounters for men, women, and children are scheduled throughout the year. Ancient Paths Held several times throughout the year, the Ancient Paths Seminars give solid principles and moving examples that open the heart up for ministry to receive healing from a cursed identity. The intent of the teaching is not just information, but to expose hidden areas of woundedness that have occurred in your family of origin or through other significant relationships. Significant group and individual ministry occurs during the course of the Ancient Paths seminars.
